As a food reviewer, I was particularly captivated by their signature dishes. The Laksa Kedah, priced at MYR 14.50, is a delightful balance of spicy and tangy, featuring rice noodles steeped in a rich fish curry. The nasi lemak selection shines as well—especially the Dendeng Daging and Ayam Goreng Berempah, both bursting with flavors and complemented by perfectly cooked rice.
Customers rave about the crispy ayam goreng, which embodies a blend of aromatic spices that creates a satisfying crunch. Reviewers have praised the overall quality, highlighting the restaurant's dedication to preparation and flavor. Food is yummy ..chicken is so crispy..lamb curry is good wit kuah campur on rice is wasxindeed a delicious meal .rest is clean with air con and fan and staff are friendly too.will be back for more .
I think the best thing here is the ayam goreng . It s crunchy and you can taste all tye spices on it. The gravy is more towards malay kind of curry ,still thick and nice full with the right spice. I also tried the mee goreng . Nice , but it was a bit too spicy for me....anyway I think it has nice tasty dishes. Usually i ordered thru grab, just I was in the neighbourhood. I dont see the ayam madu, but each time ordering I would request for ayam.madu.it has a nice kind sweet honey taste but yet full of spice kind of chicken.it seem they have replaced it with ayam bawang. I ll give it a try one day. I may not be able to dine it but i would recommend. And this is is still my favorite place to order nasi kandar.
I had a wonderful dining experience here! The restaurant serves authentic Northern Malaysian dishes that truly remind me of home. Every dish was packed with flavor. The service was friendly and fast, and the atmosphere was cozy. Definitely a must-visit for anyone craving northern-style food.
Ali service is good. Rice with their special kuah and beef is tasty. Bring me back the memories of the northern Malay food taste. Definately will come back again.
If you’re a fan of hearty Malaysian fare—especially nasi kandar—Lunchbear in TTDI is a spot worth checking out. This cozy eatery delivers big on flavor while keeping things laid-back and welcoming. The food is the star here. Every dish I tried was packed with flavor—delicious in the most satisfying way. While the menu leans heavily on local staples, there’s a freshness and care in the preparation that sets it apart from your average lunch spot. Service was friendly and efficient, making the dining experience smooth and pleasant. The staff were attentive without being overbearing, which added to the comfortable vibe of the place. The decor is simple yet cozy, creating an atmosphere that makes you want to linger a little longer over your meal. Prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and overall experience. If you’re a nasi kandar lover or just someone who appreciates well-executed Malaysian cuisine, Lunchbear is definitely worth a visit. I’ll be back—and next time, I’m bringing friends.
